Implication and implementation path of the ideological and political elements in acupuncture- moxibustion courses / 中国针灸

To explore the implementation path of the ideological and political education according to the characteristics of teaching sections in acupuncture-moxibustion courses. Excavating the traditional Chinese culture and medical ethics contained in acupuncture-moxibustion courses helps strengthening the ideological and political quality of medical students and noble medical ethics, strengthening self-confidence in both professions and culture, and also helps students establishing a correct outlook on life, world and value. The moral education integrated with the professional teaching will helps explore ideological and political education path in acupuncture-moxibustion courses, so as to solidify them into each teaching sections and improve the teaching effect.

Exploration on formation of modern acupuncture-moxibustion education mode / 中国针灸

College education is the main mode of modern acupuncture-moxibustion talent training in China. In this paper, the acupuncture-moxibstion education modes in the early years after the founding of the Peoples' Republic of China, dominated as the Chinese medicine advanced school and the training course of Chinese medicine for the western medicine physicians, were collected as well as the transformation into normalized institution education ones. As a result, the formation and the improvement process of modern acupuncture-moxibustion education mode are reflected and their significance on the discipline development is explored.

Application of Target-guided Teaching Method in the Practice of Teaching Meridian and Acupoint Science / 上海针灸杂志

TheMeridian and Acupoint Science is a basic course in the major of acupuncture-moxibustion and tuina. We applied target-guided teaching method in teaching this course to evoke student's interest in studyingMeridian and Acupoint Science through initiative guidance, and boost student's initiative and enthusiasm by exhibiting the teaching targets. During the practice, we emphasized the specification of each unit target, around which we adopted various methods; meanwhile, we also focused on prompt evaluation, based on which necessary adjustments would be made to approach the targets. Teachers should act as guider, maintainer and promoter in class, rather than transmitter, to help students to study positively rather than passively listen. Via this kind of teaching reform, students not only obtained knowledge, but also enhanced their capability and feelings.

Analysis of the Application of Case-based Learning in the Education of Acupuncture-moxibustion / 上海针灸杂志

Objective To analyze the current situation of applying case-based learning (CBL) to the education of acupuncture-moxibustion by investigating the published literatures involving CBL in medical education.Method The literatures published between 2001 and 2015 were retrieved from VIP, CNKI, CBM, and WanFang databases, and the manuscripts about the application of CBL in the education of acupuncture-moxibustion were classified and analyzed.Result The related literatures involving the application of CBL in the education of acupuncture-moxibustion were rather limited, not enough for revealing the action and significance of CBL in the education of acupuncture-moxibustion.Conclusion CBL accords with the strong practicality of acupuncture-moxibustion, and is worth promotion; however, there are some shortcomings in the compiling of cases, students grouping, evaluation of study results, and the capability of teachers, which expect further standardization of teaching process and comprehensive use of advanced teaching methods, for cultivating elites in acupuncture-moxibustion.
